SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver who “wasn’t really paying attention” caused a crash Monday afternoon on Sherwood Way.
A Cadillac SUV was traveling east on Sherwood Way and attempting to turn into the Mitchell Buick GMC parking lot when it was rear-ended by a Ford Ranger.
A traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department said the driver of the Ford failed to pay attention to the Cadillac slowing in front of him and will be cited for failure to control speed.
The crash caused one lane of traffic to be shut down while crews worked the scene.
Both drivers were uninjured.
