2 Taken to Hospital After Crash on Southwest

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash on Southwest Boulevard on Wednesday morning resulted in both drivers being taken to the hospital.

The crash occurred about 10:45 a.m. near the intersection of Sherwood Way and Southwest Boulevard.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, a white Ford Mustang failed to yield the right of way while turning left into the parking lot of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, 2702 Southwest Blvd.

The Mustang collided with a white Kia Soul, causing significant front-end damage to each vehicle.

Both vehicles had to be towed, and both drivers were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries, the officer stated.

The driver of the Mustang will be cited for failure to yield the right of way.
