WATCH: Jeep Fails to Yield and Crashes into Chevy

 

SAN ANGELO, TX— A crash on a busy street in San Angelo sent one driver to the hospital.

Around 2:30 p.m., San Angelo police and other first responders were dispatched to North Bryant Boulevard and 7th Street regarding a major vehicle crash. One woman involved was said to have a head injury.

On scene, reports observed a two-vehicle crash between a white Jeep and a Chevy sedan that had heavy front-end damage. Both vehicles were transported by wreckers from the crash.

Officers on scene said that the Chevy Impala was traveling southbound on North Bryant Boulevard and the Jeep was traveling northbound and attempting to turn onto 7th Street. The Jeep failed to yield the right of way to the Chevy Impala, and they collided in the intersection.

The driver of the Chevy Impala was transported to Shannon Medical Center for unknown injuries, and the driver of the Jeep was issued a citation.
