SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash Monday on North Koenigheim Street sent a truck careening into a tree.
The crash occurred about 3:20 p.m. near the intersection of North Koenigheim and 1st Street.
According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, a woman attempted to turn from the wrong lane into Discount Tire, 105 N. Koenigheim St.
The woman’s vehicle clipped the back of a box truck, which caused the driver of the truck to lose control of the vehicle.
The truck’s driver was transported to a local hospital, while the driver of the other vehicle refused medical attention. She was given a citation for turning from the wrong lane.
