Metal Crumples on Knickerbocker as Two Vehicles Collide

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A traffic crash caused congestion along Knickerbocker Road at Commerce Street on Monday afternoon. 

Police issued a Nixle alert around 4:20 p.m. advising drivers to avoid the area as officers worked the scene. Traffic was not shut down but was heavily snarled in both directions.

Photos from the scene show a black SUV with heavy front-end damage and a white pickup involved but with little damage. Emergency personnel were on scene assessing the vehicles and directing traffic.

Traffic delays extended along Knickerbocker Road as vehicles moved slowly through the area. 

No injuries or additional details has been received from police. 

Minutes before this crash, another collision involving a motorcycle occurred on Sunset Drive in which the driver suffered "severe" injuries.
