Eldorado Man Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter After Crash

 

ELDORADO, TX — An Eldorado man has been charged with intoxication manslaughter after a crash Saturday on US Highway 190.

Caleb Nolen, 23, was driving west on the highway near mile post 358 in Schleicher County when he crossed the center stripe and rolled a Toyota Tundra at 8:56 a.m., according to a report from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Neither Nolen or his passenger, Ethan Wolfe, 21, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, were wearing their seatbelts.

Wolfe was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at Schleicher County Medical Center.

Nolen reportedly only suffered minor injuries.

It was determined that Nolen was intoxicated, and he was charged with intoxication manslaughter and booked into Schleicher County Jail.

The weather conditions were described as fog/dew, while the road conditions were listed as dry.
