3-Vehicle Crash Blocks Traffic at Bryant and 29th St.

SAN ANGELO, TX — A three-vehicle crash is backing up traffic Friday at the intersection of Bryant Boulevard and 29th Street.

The crash occurred about 12:40 p.m. when a red Buick SUV ran a red light, according to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department.

The driver disregarding a red light caused a collision that sent a white Honda Civic into a sign and crosswalk pole, along with a red pickup truck, causing significant damage to both passenger-side doors on the Honda. An occupant from the Honda was transported to the hospital.

A Nixle alert has advised drivers to avoid the area as motorists heading north on Bryant currently can’t turn right onto 29th Street due to the crash, so they’re being redirected through the Walgreens parking lot.
