Crash Shuts Down Intersection at Bryant, Avenue N

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon has shut down the intersection of Bryant Boulevard and Avenue N.

The crash occurred just after 1 p.m. and is causing all northbound traffic on Bryant to be redirected. Southbound traffic has been reduced to two lanes. Traffic on Avenue N is unable to cross over Bryant.

A Chevy C10 pickup truck and a GMC Acadia collided, leaving the GMC in the middle of the road while the Chevy ended up in the entrance of a parking lot.

One person was seen being loaded into an ambulance.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, the driver of the GMC was headed southbound on Bryant and turning left onto Avenue N when they failed to yield the right of way, which caused the crash.

The driver of the GMC was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
