Vehicle Crashes Into Tree On U.S. 277

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a vehicle crashed into a tree near the intersection of South U.S. 277 and Reese Road around 3 p.m. Friday. 

Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, and San Angelo Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the motor vehicle accident, where the vehicle had veered off the roadway. 

Traffic was restricted to one lane at a time as emergency crews managed the scene.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
