87-Year-Old Coleman Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash

 

COLEMAN, TX — Bobby Eugene Dickinson, 87, of Coleman, died Monday morning after his pickup truck failed to negotiate a curve and rolled over on County Road 402 in Coleman County, authorities stated. 

The crash occurred about 6 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. Dickinson was driving westbound in a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup when the vehicle left the roadway on the north side, struck a metal pipe fence and overturned. He was wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. 

No one else was injured. The vehicle did not catch fire, a correction from the Texas Department of Public Safety noted. Weather conditions were clear with dry road surfaces. The posted speed limit was 60 mph.
