SAN ANGELO, TX — A three-vehicle collision Tuesday on Sherwood Way has completely stopped westbound traffic.
The crash occurred about 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Guthrie Street and Sherwood Way.
The crash caused police to block off both lanes of westbound traffic and reduce eastbound traffic to one lane.
According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, the driver of a white Chrysler 300 traveling westbound on Sherwood Way failed to control their speed and crashed into a maroon GMC Canyon when it stopped for traffic in front of it.
The collision caused the Canyon to then be pushed into a blue Mazda CX30.
Two people in the Mazda were taken by ambulance to the hospital, the officer stated. The other four people involved in the crash all refused medical treatment.
