SAN ANGELO, TX — A motor vehicle crash at RM 853 and Jameson Road prompted authorities to close the roadway Wednesday from Winger Road to Feil Road, according to the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office advised motorists to avoid the area at about 12:15 p.m.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and other emergency responders, including Dove Creek personnel, were on scene directing traffic and investigating.
A San Angelo LIVE! reporter at the scene said DPS troopers ordered vehicles to turn around and travel in the opposite direction.
A Texas DPS helicopter was circling overhead, and AirMed was also responding, according to flight-tracking data.
No other information is known at this time.
