Driver Cited in Three-Vehicle San Angelo Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Toyota Tundra driver was cited Wednesday after running a red light and causing a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of West Beauregard Avenue and South Washington Street, police said. 

The collision occurred about 3:30 p.m. The silver Toyota Tundra was traveling westbound on Beauregard Avenue when it entered the intersection against a red signal and struck a gray Ford F-150 traveling southbound on Washington Street through a green light, according to San Angelo police. 

The force of the impact then pushed the Ford F-150 into a white GMC Acadia traveling northbound on Washington Street.

No injuries were reported. Officers issued a citation to the Toyota driver for the violation.

Emergency dispatch initially reported that an occupant may have been trapped in one of the vehicles, but firefighters determined extrication was not required.
