San Angelo Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Police are searching for a silver or gray SUV that fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash involving a white Ford Edge on Thursday, May 28. 

The crash happened shortly before noon at the intersection of North Main Street and Pulliam Street. 

The SUV struck the Ford Edge and continued westbound on 3rd Street, police said. The driver of the Ford Edge, an elderly woman, was not injured. Fire and medical crews responded after she reported feeling scared and fearing possible injury, but she was released on scene after medical evaluation found no injuries. 

The crash remains under investigation. Officers are canvassing the area for surveillance video from nearby businesses in an effort to identify the suspect vehicle, which is described only as silver or gray. No other details about the SUV, including make or model, were immediately known.
