Evasive Action Leads to Rollover Crash in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX — A rollover crash in a residential area sent one woman to the hospital this Thursday morning.

It happened at about 9:45 a.m. near the intersection of Hillcrest Drive and Southwest Boulevard.

According to the San Angelo Police, the crash happened after the driver took evasive action to avoid something in the roadway. That led the driver of a GMC Acadia to crash into a parked, unoccupied Toyota Tundra. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

Police said they would be combing the area in search of any cameras that could have captured the moments leading up to the crash.

No citation has been issued as the crash is still under investigation.
