Rollover Crash Shuts Down Traffic on Bryant

SAN ANGELO, TX — A rollover crash Tuesday afternoon has shut down traffic on North Bryant Boulevard.

The crash occurred about 1 p.m. at the intersection of North Bryant Boulevard and Avenue L.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, three vehicles were involved, one of which was lying on its side.

Two people were seen being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher. Two other people involved in the crash were uninjured.

Because of conflicting stories about what caused the crash, no citations have been issued yet, and the investigation remains ongoing.

All traffic on North Bryant Boulevard has been shut down and is being redirected onto Avenue N. Eastbound traffic on Avenue L is also being blocked.

About 20 minutes after the crash, another crash occurred about five blocks away at South Bryant Boulevard and Knickerbocker Road.

Police have sent out Nixle alerts advising people to avoid the area of both crashes as traffic is now significantly backed up.
