Driver Hospitalized After Crashing Into Tree Outside City Hall Annex

SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver was taken to the hospital Sunday morning after crashing into a tree near the City Hall Annex building on South Koenigheim Street.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Koenigheim and West Twohig Avenue. Emergency crews from the San Angelo Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene. A sedan sustained heavy front-end damage in a head-on collision with a tree, with a dislodged headlight left on the pavement nearby.

One individual was transported by ambulance with unknown injuries. The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed, and traffic was not significantly disrupted.
