Three Arrested, 1 Child Taken by CPS After Police Find a Considerable Amount of Drugs and Narcotics

 

COLEMAN, TX — A search warrant led Coleman Police Department to numerous amounts of drugs, prescription narcotics and dangerous drugs. 

On July 14, an investigation began for an unknown reason. This investigation lead to a search warrant, that was executed on July 20th in the 1100 block of South Concho in Coleman. 

The results of the search warrant, Coleman police say, led to several items being seized including: marijuana, drug paraphernalia, scales, packaging materials, prescription narcotics and dangerous drugs. 

Bobby Carl Dye, 41, Zachary Blade Dye, 20, and Taylor Roxanne New, 32, were arrested on the scene. All three were charged with Possession of Marijuana. New is also being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Coleman's police department has advised that one child was removed by Child Protective Services and placed with a family member.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden and Santa Anna Police Department assisted in the search and arrests. Coleman Fire and Heart of Texas EMS also provided support.
