Family Violence Tops Thursday Booking Report

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The booking report from Thursday and Friday morning shows 23 people arrested and booked in Tm Green County jail. The following people and their charges were selected from the SAPD arrest blotter:

Gabriel Menchaca, 42, was arrested Thursday morning for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop. Officers followed up on a report of a reckless driver and pulled Menchaca over near W. Avenue L and S. Bryant.

Gilbert Rodriguez, 37, was arrested for failure to identify fugitive intent give false info, assault causes bodily injury-family violence, and two warrants for driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 and assault to family member. The arrest came following a domestic violence investigation Thursday morning.

Jose Antonio Reyes, 45, was arrested Thursday afternoon for evading arrest and a warrant for forgery financial instrument after police were dispatched to the Walmart on W. 29th Street for the report of an unwanted person on the property. Reyes evaded officers by running through a field and jumping a few fences. His location was detected by K-9 Thor and he was successfully taken into custody.  

Lucille Bills, 40, was arrested for assault-family violence by threat after police were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of E. 37th Street for the report of a domestic disturbance.

Cruz Montez Jr., 60, was arrested for public intoxication on Friday morning after police were dispatched to the Pinkies on S. Bryant in reference to a welfare concern for a man sleeping on the sidewalk.
