71-year-old Man Arrested for Continuous Sexual Assault of a Minor

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Preston Navarro, 71, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 28 for sexual abuse of a child continuously under the age of 14.

Navarro committed two or more acts of sexual abuse within a six-year period against the victim, a child between the ages of 7 to 13 years.

Law enforcement officers interviewed the victim who said that Navarro intentionally and knowingly had sexual contact with the victim.

The victim confirmed that this happened multiple times.

Navarro admitted to the above-mentioned sexual incidents which occurred at his residence in San Angelo.

Navarro is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14. 

Navarro’s bond is set at $250,000.
