Shoplifters Run From Cops and Throw Meth Out of Window

 

ABILENE, TX-- Two men attempted to out run police after they stole items from a Lowe's Home Improvement store on Wednesday.

John Juan Limones Jr., 38, and Floyd Brown, 44, both went inside the Lowe's in north Abilene and stole a variety of items from the store.

After leaving the store, the two got in their car and drove away. An Abilene Police officer followed the vehicle, and then attempted to pull them over.

The police chased the car for several miles at high speeds. During the chase the officer observed someone in the vehicle threw a black object out of the window.

Finally the car came to a stop and the men were arrested. Officers found the bag which contained over a gram of meth.

The suspects were arrested and charged with evading arrest, tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair, and possession of a controlled substance.

The two are being held on bond at the Taylor County Jail with bond amounts of $26,000 for Limones and $16,000 for Brown.
