Suspect Accused of Sharing Lewd Images on Facebook Messenger

ABILENE, TX — A 36-year-old Abilene man was arrested after a grand jury indicted at him for continuous sexual abuse of a child and promotion of child pornography.

According to KTXS, Larry Don Sparks Jr. was flagged by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children back in March.

NCMEC informed the Abilene Police Department that Sparks uploaded and sent a picture of a 13 or 14-year-old girl exposing herself on Facebook. A search warrant was then executed at Spark’s home back in April.

According to court documents, Sparks told investigators that when he uploaded child pornography to Facebook messenger he was “being stupid.”

In addition, police found images of Sparks inappropriately touching a 6-year-old girl on his phone.
