Man Killed After Threatening Homeowner At Gunpoint

MIDLAND, TX -- A shooting turned deadly on Tuesday afternoon in Midland.

According to a press release by the Midland County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of shots fired call in the 7100 block of Airline Rd.

When they arrived at the scene deputies found 26-year-old Ian Zachary Ramirez dead.

The investigation revealed that Ramirez entered the home of 20-year-old Gunner Thomas Russo Duffy without consent.

Ramirez, armed with a gun, threatened Duffy. Gunfire was then exchanged and Ramirez was killed.
