BALLINGER, TX -- The Ballinger Police Department confirmed a major bust by an officer identified as Officer Hurst.
According to the Facebook post by the department, Officer Hurst seized 14 pounds of marijuana, THC and a gun.
No further details were released regarding the bust.
Facebook users took the opportunity to provide their own colorful commentary.
Ricky Montalvo said, "Give Ballinger back their weed I know a lot of people out there need it ...even some of those stuck up people that live by the high school."
"Maybe go after all the meth in that town instead...pot isn't your problem," said Lexie Wheeler
