Here's What Is Going Into the Former Hastings Building

SAN ANGELO, TX – Contractors have confirmed that a Burlington retail store is coming soon to San Angelo.

In 2016 the media distribution monster, Hastings, filed for bankruptcy after its market was sucked dry by online media like Spotify and Apple Music.

Since the closure, the only retailer that has tried to use the building is Spirt Halloween. This year Spirt Halloween has moved down the block to the Sunset Plaza.

Now Hoover Construction is remodeling the building to make it into Burlington.

Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, is an American national off-price department store retailer. A division of Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation with over 740 stores in 40 states and Puerto Rico.

Burllington sells a number of items such as men's, woman's, and baby clothing. The store also sell home items and of course coats.

It is unclear when the building will be completed but remodeling is well underway.

Burlington will be located at 4238 Sunset Dr.
