Big Spring Police Investigating Shooting of a Black Man

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Big Spring Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred around lunchtime on Wednesday.

According to BSPD, shortly after noon officers were dispatched to the 800 block of S. Nolan for reports of a shooting victim.

Upon arriving at the scene officers located a 31-year-old black male.

When EMS personnel arrived at the scene they began administering life-saving measures and rushed the victim to the airpark where Air Evac was awaiting.

Police have not confirmed many details about the shooting, but they have confirmed he was flown to Midland Memorial for treatment.
