Alleged Shooting Incident Causes Chaos in Sterling City

 

STERLING CITY, TX – A critical incident, allegedly a shooting, at the Tres Amigos caused chaos on Wednesday in Sterling City.

According to the Sterling County Sheriff's Office, on Dec. 2, a critical incident occurred at the Tres Amigos around noon.

At the time of the incident the Sheriff's Office asked all citizens to avoid the area.

Witnesses on scene claim to have seen "a lot of crime tape" and the "most police cars" the witness had ever seen. The witness also said that a vehicle had driven into the propane tank holder in front of the gas station.

Rumors across social media have guesses that someone was shot in the incident. 

The Sterling County Sheriff's Office confirmed Thursday that there is an active investigation.
