Children Found Safe After Mother's Ex-Boyfriend Shot to Death

 

HOUSTON, TX – The Harris County Sheriff's Office has canceled the Amber Alert issued for the two children who were kidnapped after their mother's ex-boyfriend was shot Monday morning.

According to the HCSO, on Dec. 7 at around 12:30 a.m., an Amber Alert was issued for DJ, 8, and Kalis, 11 months, after they were kidnapped.

The Amber Alert was canceled after authorities found the children in Nacogdoches. The children were uninjured.

HCSO confirmed that the two children were taken after a man shot the the woman's ex-boyfriend at the 16700 block of Ella Boulevard.

The shooter and his female companion have been taken into custody. The Harris County Sheriff's Office is expected to release more information shortly.
