San Angelo Man Indicted for Meth Possession

 

SAN ANGELO,TX – Juan Ramirez, 29, has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in February for possession of methamphetamine. 

According to court documents, November 10th, 2020, a San Angelo Police Officer was informed about Ramirez living at a residence on Parsons Street and had active warrants for his arrest. Ramirez was seen getting into the passenger seat of a vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated at the 500 block of Rio Concho Drive. 

The officer instructed Ramirez to step out of the vehicle. As he did, a black pouch and a meth pipe fell to the ground. 

Along with the pipe, a crystal-like substance was field tested and came back positive for methamphetamine and several narcotics bags of marijuana were also found.

Ramirez was arrested then for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and his warrants.

Juan Ramirez has been charged with POSS CS PG 1 <1G and is currently an inmate at TGCDF and is being held on $7,500.00 bond.
