Armed and Dangerous Fugitive Captured in Home Across from Central High School

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The five day search for the armed and dangerous fugitive ended Saturday after police located the man in a home just outside of Central High School. 

The San Angelo Police Department alerted citizens, on Mar. 10, that they were searching for Nelson Estrada, 32, a San Angelo man who was allegedly armed, dangerous and wanted on a number felonies.

During the engagement at the apartment complex Estrada was able to escape on foot.

Then on Mar. 14 officers were able to locate Estrada at the 800 block of San Antonio. Along with Estrada, Anthony Jimenez, 29 was arrested for warrants.

Estrada was booked into the the Tom Green County Detention Center for unlawful possession of body armor by a felon, unlawful possession of a firearm by felon, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of a prohibited weapon. His bond is set at $295,000.00

Jiminez was booked for violation of probation assault that caused bodily injury to a family member and three misc capias pro fines. He has no bond listed at this time.
