Jealous San Angelo Man Indicted for Assaulting a Woman Over Her Snapchat

SAN ANGELO,TX – A San Angelo man has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in April 2021 for ASSAULT FAMILY VIOLENCE and AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON.

On October 19th, 2020, Conner Featherston woke up the victim and demanded she open her snapchat account. The victim refused to unlock the account and Featherston dragged her out of bed. He then began choking the victim, so much so that she began to think she would pass out.

He released her and demanded again that she unlock the account. After another refusal, Featherston then pointed a handgun at the back of her head.

Law enforcement noticed red marks on the victim’s neck and then asked Featherston what happened. After being Mirandized, he stated he believed the victim was cheating on him and admitted to putting his hands around her neck but denied pointing a handgun at her.

Featherston was booked on October 19th, 2020 and posted a $20,000.00 bond the next day. Featherston is not currently an inmate at the TGCDF.

Featherston’s initial pretrial court date is set for June 1st, 2021.
