Minor Charged with Murder in Apartment Shooting

ODESSA, TX- A 16-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place Sunday evening.

The victim, 22-year-old Joshua Holbert, was shot a number of times by the minor who ran off. Holbert died as a result of the shooting.

The unidentified minor was arrested Monday morning.

Several people tried to help Holbert. One person ran to their truck for a first aid kit and another held a towel on the wound. Witnesses say Holbert was bleeding from his chest.

The minor has been charged with 1st degree murder.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
