Abilene Perv Arrested in San Angelo for Crimes Against a Child

SAN ANGELO, TX – An Abilene man was arrested in San Angelo Wednesday night on a warrant for continuously molesting a child.

According to court documents, on Jun. 9 at 8:23 p.m., Christopher Stewart was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14.

The arrest came after Stewart was accused by the victim's mother of molesting her child. She claims that she heard her child tell another child of a secret she had with Stewart. After asking about the secret, the mother learned that Stewart had sexually abused the child.

The documents continue detailing a time the witness found Stewart on top of the child without any pants on.

All of the events occurred in Taylor County and Stewart is a resident of Abilene.

Stewart is currently in the TGCDF in lieu of a $75,000 surety bond. If he is released he can have no contact with the victim.
