Man Died at Crime Scene But Police Careful to Not Call it a Homicide

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police blocked off a crime scene Sunday afternoon in the 600 block of 19th St. as several police vehicles were on the scene. Police are not calling this a homicide investigation. Instead, they are using the terms like questionable or unknown cause of death.

There are few details at this time but reporters on the scene say a Justice of the Peace has arrived and there is a death.

Anonymous reports allege a murder has taken place but that information has not been confirmed by law enforcement. Police said they are not ready to rule on the crime committed, if any.

Witnesses at the scene said the house where the crime scene is has been the site of frequent visitors at all hours of the day and night. This is a developing story and will be updated as new information becomes available.
