Abilene Police Need Help Solving a Possible Abduction

ABILENE,TX – A young girl got into a van in Abilene Thursday night and the Abilene Police Department needs help locating her.

The van was dark blue in color and had a red stripe down the middle. It had two male occupants, one hispanic and one white according to witnesses.

Around 7:30 p.m. at the 1100 block of Gendale Drive, a group of children told police that the blue van had pulled up and it looked like the little girl was forcibly taken. She appeared to be around 7 years old.

We do not have a picture of the girl.

There have been no missing children reports and a canvass of the area continues.

If you have any information regarding this incident, please call the Abilene Police Department’s non-emergency number at (325)673-8331 or 911 for emergencies.
