Police Arrest Suspect In Thursday Night Shooting

 

MIDLAND, TX – The Midland Police Department has confirmed an arrest was made in connection to a Thursday night shooting.

According to MPD, officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Franklin Ave. for reports of a shooting victim.

When officers arrived at the scene they located one victim that was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect in the case was identified as Mario Lara and he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a Felon, a third-degree felony.
