Mexican Mules Abandon 300 Pounds of Reefer on the Rio Grande

 

LAREDO, TX – Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to Laredo North Station prevented a narcotic smuggling attempt and seized several bundles of marijuana in west Laredo near the Rio Grande River.

The incident occurred during the late evening of July 20, when agents encountered several individuals with four bundles near the riverbanks.  The individuals abandoned the bundles and fled back across the river to Mexico.

Agents seized the bundles of marijuana that had an approximate weight of over 300 lbs. with an estimated value of $241,600.  The contraband was held to be turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

With the huge influx of joe biden's illegal aliens the Mexican cartels are making millions of dollars off of the people trying to sneak in. They are also taking advantage of the huge overload this has caused our Border Patrol and other law enforcement and are smuggling even more drugs than normal.
