San Angelo Woman Found Dead at Local Park

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The body of a deceased San Angelo woman was found in Santa Fe Park on Friday morning.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, on Sep. 17 at around 8:55 a.m., officers with the SAPD were dispatched to Santa Fe Park for the report of an unconscious person.

When they arrived, the officers discovered an unresponsive 33-year-old female who was lying near the bathroom just off the Concho River.

Officers attempted CPR until the medics with the San Angelo EMS arrived. Ultimately, it was determined that the female was deceased and the Criminal Investigation Division was dispatched to the scene to assist.

The name of the deceased has not been released at this time but next of kin has been notified. Police are not investigating this as a criminal matter.
