Suspect Arrested After Showing Up for Lewd Encounter with Online 'Teen'

 

ABILENE – An Abilene man is facing serious charges after police say he attempted to meet a minor he met online for sex. 

According to APD, Neko Ramirez began communicating with an individual he believed to be a 15-year-old minor on various social media apps.

Ramirez and the teen agreed to meet at Cobb Park to engage in sexual intercourse.

The suspect was subsequently arrested and booked into the Taylor County Jail on charges of online solicitation of a minor, a second-degree felony.

Ramirez was released after posting a $30,000 bond.
