West Texas Toddler Found Safe Following Amber Alert

 

LUBBOCK, TX – A Lubbock Toddler was found safe after an Amber Alert was issued in west Texas on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, on Oct. 5, 7-year-old Addlynn Carter was abducted by her caretaker Michael Hernandez.

The LCSO issued an Amber Alert after the child and Hernandez were seen walking south near CR 1150 and CR 6860 at around 3-4 p.m.

After nearly 11 hours of searching Addlynn was located safe.

LCSO did not state if Hernandez was arrested or not.
