Midland Woman Pleads Guilty In January 6th Case

MIDLAND, TX –– More than 280 days after Midland native Jenny Cudd entered the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, she has finally accepted a plea deal.

Cudd originally made headlines after her Facebook Lives went viral on social media. News outlets all over the country shared the footage where she bragged about being inside the building and being part of the crowd.

"F--k yes, I am proud of my actions, I f--king charged the Capitol today with patriots today. Hell, yes I am proud of my actions," said Cudd in one of the videos.

From the beginning, Cudd aimed to fight the charges of entering and remaining on restricted grounds and disorderly conduct or violent entry. She claimed the charges stemmed from political differences and asked to move the trial to West Texas in order to have a fair trial.

Cudd even set up an online fundraiser to help fund her legal defense, where she received $1,895.

In exchange for a guilty plea, Cudd only pleaded guilty to knowingly entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds.

Cudd's sentencing hearing will be held in March. The flower shop owner faces up to one year in prison, a $100,000 fine, and a year of supervised release after prison. Cudd will be ordered to pay $500 in restitution.

(but since their people did it they allow domestic terrorism.)

You mean like the democrats and this current administration has with Antifa after they spent months burning American cities, destroying lives and even killing people? It was ok because the election was going on and they wanted Trump to look as bad as they could make it. The democrats wouldn't even call it riots but peaceful protests instead. Of the hundreds involved over several months, how many have been brought to justice? I doubt any because the democrats may need to use them again.

(multiple right wing activists have been charged and even plead guilty to starting fires and promoting violence)

There you are twisting the truth again. I seriously doubt there is even one right wing person in the Antifa gangs.
