Fugitive Wanted for Beating a Dude During a Dope Deal Captured After Years on the Run

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – After more than three years on the run, a suspect accused aggravated robbery was captured in Tom Green County.

According to court documents, on Dec. 8, Shawnlsey Williams, 47, was arrested for aggravated robbery and speeding.

Williams has been wanted since Apr. 10, 2017 after a Tom Green County grand jury indicted Williams on the charge.

In the indictment, Williams is accused of robbing a man by gunpoint during a marijuana deal in Dec. 2016. 

During the incident police say he pistol whipped the victim multiple times which broke the clip on the gun. This clue led police to Williams.

After years of searching, San Angelo City Marshals were able to capture Williams. His bond is set at $25,000.
