Aggravated Assault & Felony Drug Possession Arrests Top Monday Booking Report

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, the San Angelo Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety made various arrests including the following individuals.

  • Luis Herrera was arrested for AGG ASSAULT CAUSES SERIOUS BODILY INJ, MISC CPF x14, and MISC FTA at 7:52 a.m. Herrera’s bond has been set at $100,502.00.
  • Karysta Bowie was arrested for THEFT PROP >=$100<$750, CPF* DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID ICON, CPF* CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY SEAT SYSTEMS ICON, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, and MISC CPF x4 at 5:04 p.m. Bowie’s bond has been set at $1,000.00.

There are currently 499 inmates at the TGCDF as of Tuesday morning. Not every inmate in custody is in the facility long enough to stay overnight.  Some inmates who qualify for bond are released as soon as they make bond.

*The booking report uses an unclassified DEA Intelligence Report titled “Drug Slang Code Words” for terms meaning marijuana.*

The following individuals were booked into the TGCDF on Monday, January 17, 2022:

  • Luis Herrera was arrested for AGG ASSAULT CAUSES SERIOUS BODILY INJ, MISC CPF x14, and MISC FTA at 7:52 a.m. Herrera’s bond has been set at $100,502.00.
  • Lorenzo Merino-Juarez was arrested for MISC ICE HOLD at 11:16 a.m. and no bond has been set.
  • Karysta Bowie was arrested for THEFT PROP >=$100<$750, CPF* DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID ICON, CPF* CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY SEAT SYSTEMS ICON, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, and MISC CPF x4 at 5:04 p.m. Bowie’s bond has been set at $1,000.00.
  • Juan Quezada was arrested for POSS MARIJ <2OZ and POSS CS PG 2 >=4G<400G at 8:50 p.m. Quezada’s bond has been set at $36,000.00.
  • Nathan Delacruz was arrested for ASSAULT CAUSES BODILY INJURY FAMILY VIOLENCE at 12:20 a.m. and was released at 11:58 a.m. the same day on $1,000.00 bond.
  • Alexander Napoles was arrested for POSS MARIJ <2OZ and POSS CS PG 2 <1G at 1:35 a.m. and was released at 2:13 p.m. the same day on $8,500.00 bond.
  • Veronica Cerritos was arrested for ASSAULT BY CONTACT FAMILY VIOLENCE and RESIST ARREST SEARCH OR TRANSPORT at 5:39 a.m. and was released at 4:28 p.m. the same day on $1,012.00 bond.
  • Whitney Smith was arrested for WALKING WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC at 7:04 p.m. and was released at 7:43 a.m. the next day on $132.00 bond.
  • Edwin Flott was arrested for PUBLIC INTOXICATION x4, CRIMINAL TREPASS, and MISC FTA x6 at 10:54 p.m. and was released at 8:13 a.m. the next day on $5,760.00 bond.
  • Jason Freeman was arrested for MISC CPF x1 at 11:54 p.m. and was released at 8:43 a.m. the next day.
