Body of Missing Texas National Guardsman Located

 

EAGLE PASS, TX – The body of the Texas National Guardsman that was reported missing on Friday was located on Monday morning.

As previously reported, on Apr. 22, 2022, Texas National Guardsman, Specialist Bishop E. Evans, 22, of Arlington, went missing during a mission attempted to save drowning illegals. For the original report see: Texas National Guardsman Missing After Attempting to Save Drowning Illegals

New information released by the TNG confirmed that Evans' body was discovered after searching all weekend.

Evans died after jumping into the Rio Grande to save two illegals crossing the border. The two aliens saved were taken into custody. They are believed to be involved in illicit transnational narcotics trafficking, according to the Texas Military Department.
