Angelo State University Police Arrest 19-Year-Old for Vile Assault of Student

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A 19-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for a brutal assault of an Angelo State University student.

According to court documents, May 11 at 12:29 p.m., Timothy Collin Bahl, 19, of Beaumont, was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for aggravated sexual assault and assault that caused serious bodily injury.

The arrest was made by the Angelo State University Police Department for an assault that occurred in Sep. 2021. In the affidavit, police accuse Bahl of raping an Angelo State student at in the Centennial Village dorm.

The girl claims that she did not consent to having sex with Bahl. During the assault, Bahl allegedly threw the woman on and around the bed, bit her, scratched her, violently slapped the woman's breasts and button. He also choked the woman to the point that she feared that she was going to die from the assault.

Police went on the state the not only did Bahl sexually assault the woman but he sodomized the woman as well.

The victim was able to provide the investigators with photographic evidence of some of the injuries sustained in the assault.

Bahl is being held in the TGCDF on a $100,000 bond.
