Fugitive San Angelo Perv Arrested in a Stolen Car Monday

 

SAN ANGELO – A San Angelo man wanted for inappropriately touching a child was arrested Monday night in a stolen car.

As previously reported, on Sep. 26 at 12:23 a.m., Frank Martinez was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also arrested on warrants for assault to a family member with a previous conviction and two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact.

Martinez was indicted for the child sex crimes on Sep. 9. A warrant was issued for Martinez's arrest on Sep. 16. At the time of his arrest Martinez was found in a stolen car. 

According to the indictment, on Dec. 23, 2021, Martinez allegedly force a child younger than 17 to touch his genitals. Also during the incident he touched the breast of the child.

Martinez was arrested by the San Angelo Police Department and as of Tuesday afternoon he remains in the jail. Martinez's bond is set at $333,162.
