Fugitive Wanted for Running Over Teen Girl at Seedy Nightclub

ABILENE, TX — The Abilene Police Department is currently searching for a hit and run suspect accused of running over a woman in front of a nightclub on Saturday night. 

According to the family of the victim, on Aug. 5, 2023, an 18-year-old Abilene woman was struck by an SUV in front of Tequila’s Night Club. 

The woman was rushed to the hospital where she was treated for a concussion, road rash, bruising, and swelling. Luckily the woman did not have any serious injuries after being thrown 40+ feet during the crash. 

APD is currently searching for the car. It is being listed as a possible Ford Escape with front end damage.
