BREAKING: Bomb Threat Called into Permian High School

 

ODESSA— A bomb threat has been called into Permian High School in Odessa.

Tuesday, August 22, 2023, according to the Ector County Independent School District, a bomb threat has been called into Permian High School. This comes one day after a hoax shooting was called in at the same school yesterday, Monday, August 21, 2023.

In the hoax shooting on Monday, DPS scanner reports indicated a subject had an AR style weapon at Permian. Later, it was determined to be a hoax.

Ector County ISD said on their Facebook:

A bomb threat was called into Permian High School. Law enforcement is at the school and implementing emergency procedures. We will send you updates as we receive information.
