Arrest of Armed Federal Desperado Tops Thursday Bookings

SAN ANGELO –  13 individuals were booked into the Tom Green County Jail in the last 24 hours on charges ranging from Assaulting a Pregnant Woman to U.S. Marshal Holds to Dealing Drugs.

San Angelo LIVE! is the only news agency in the Concho Valley that consistently publishes the Booking Report for you seven days a week.

29-year-old Garrett Fowler was arrested by Tom Green Co. Sheriff's Deputies for Assault of a Pregnant Person.  He was booked into the Tom Green Co. Jail at 10:14 p.m. Thursday.  He is being held without bond pending a magistrate hearing before a Justice of the Peace Friday.

Marc Anthony Vasquez, 23, was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Federal drug and weapons charges.  He is being charged with Possession of less than 2ozs of Marijuana, Manufacture and Delivery of between 4 grams and 200 grams of Meth, a Grand Jury Indictment for Possession of between 1 gram and 4 grams of Meth/Fentanyl, Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon with a Felony Conviction, and a U.S. Marshal Hold.  He was booked into jail at 9:54 a.m. and there is no bond.

Vasquez is one of three federal prisoners being held in the Tom Green Co. Jail Thursday for U.S. Marshals.  43-year-old Phillipe Pitts and 46-year-old Armando Villarreal are also awaiting transport to federal custody.

San Angelo LIVE! makes no assumptions or representations about guilt or innocence of anyone on the booking report. Regardless of the headline, individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Information on the site should not be used to determine any person’s actual criminal record.

The charges listed in this booking report are taken directly from information provided by the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office and Jail.  They are not altered in any way and may or may not be the actual charges filed against the individual.

If the charges appear incorrect in this report, that incorrect information is the fault of the District Attorneys office.

The bond amounts listed on the booking report are initial amounts recorded during the booking process.  Actual bonds are set by magistrate judges, usually Justices of the Peace, within 24 hours of an individual's arrest and are updated on the jail website.

The following list is provided by Corrections Officers at the Tom Green County Jail under the direction of Tom Green County Sheriff Nick Hanna.
