'Lil One' Lopez Arrested for Aggravated Kidnapping in Standoff Near ASU

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - The San Angelo Police Department learned that a wanted subject, Hector 'Lil One' Lopez, was "possibly located" at a residence near Vanderventer and S. Van Buren—Tuesday night.

According to the police department, multiple officers and agencies converged on the area and confirmed that Hector was inside the residence.

SAPD’s SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Team arrived on the scene and attempted to contact Hector inside the residence. 

After multiple unsuccessful contact attempts, SAPD’s SWAT team entered the residence and took Hector into custody. 

Hector was then transported to the Tom Green County Jail for his multiple felony warrants for Aggravated Kidnapping, Stalking, and an *MTR* for Possession of Child Pornography.

No civilians or officers were injured during the course of this incident.

SAPD’s SWAT team, Crisis Negotiation Team, Drone team, K9 Division, Criminal Investigations Division, and Patrol Division assisted with this incident.

"The SAPD would like to thank the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and ASU Police for assisting us during this incident," the police department stated.
